Lemon Drop Salon Branding Session

Lemon Drop Salon Branding Session

Can I just tell you how much fun it is to hang out with 10 women and listen to pop music from the early 2000s? I had totally forgotten as I am the type of person to hang out with like 1 or 2 people at a time. THIS WAS SO MUCH FUN!

I had shot a family session for Bailey, Owner of Lemon Drop Salon in the fall, and I was super honored and excited to shoot a branding session for her when she asked. When I walked into the salon I was immediately wowed by everything she had built. I was literally asking myself "do people our age really own kickass salons like this?!" - Yes, yes they do.

Bailey wanted fun, and professional photos she could use for her website and social media. I think we definitely hit both here! Love how these came out!

Whenever working in a new space (which I do a lot) it's always a roll of the dice on the light. Luckily, Bailey's studio had beautiful and even sometimes dramatic natural light which was fun to shoot in. If you're wanting to shoot in your own space, take note of when the light is best. For most indoor spaces, that means mid-day when the sun is over the building's roof.

Enjoy this fun session with Bailey and her staff and co-workers!
